We are ready and excited to kick off the 2016-17 season on Monday, September 12. Our practice times are the same as past years, namely Mondays, 5:30-6:30, and Wednesdays, 6:20-7:20.
We are excited to announce our new Learn to Speed Skate program this year. It runs for five weeks beginning on September 19 and is a great way to give speed skating a try. The program runs during our regular practices, but skaters are in their own group with a dedicated coach. At only $70, it is a heck of a deal! And the price includes speed skate rental!
Our registration form is included below as a PDF. Please also note that Speed Skating BC asks that all parents read their concussion protocol prior to the season. It is included below as well.
If you have any questions about the new season or the Learn to Speed Skate program, please contact us through our Contact Us page.

Following the AGM will be awards, presentations.
(Please consider bringing a finger food appetizer or dessert to share for the awards celebration).
Our season starts soon and we’d love to have you join us! Our first practice will be Monday, Sept 14. Our practice times are Mondays, 5:30 – 6:30 pm and Wednesdays, 6:20 – 7:20 pm. Note that practices are ten minutes longer this season. These times listed are our on- and off-ice times.
Our final practice is Wed, Mar 9. Other days when there are no practices are: Oct 12 (Thanksgiving) and Dec 23, 28 & 30. Dec 21 will likely be our Winter Wonderland skate, but that will have to be confirmed closer to the day. We do have practices scheduled on Nov 11 (Remembrance Day) and Feb 8 (Family Day).
